Honda CR-V Configurations & MPG Ratings

No matter which of the four available 2019 CR-V configurations you choose, you’ll benefit from spirited and efficient performance. The base-level Honda CR-V LX is powered by a standard in-line 4-cylinder engine, and the EX, EX-L, and Touring models with a turbocharged in-line 4-cylinder. All CR-V models feature a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and standard 2WD. All models also offer the option of Honda Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System™ to add extra traction and control on New London roads. The CR-V fuel efficiency ratings per trim level and configuration are as follows:

  • CR-V LX
    • Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) 2WD: EPA-estimated 26 mpg city/32 mpg highway* rating
    • Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) AWD: EPA-estimated 25 mpg city/31 mpg highway* rating
  • CR-V EX
    • Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) 2WD: EPA-estimated 28 mpg city/34 mpg highway* rating
    • Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) AWD: EPA-estimated 27 mpg city/33 mpg highway* rating

    • Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) AWD: EPA-estimated 27 mpg city/33 mpg highway* rating

Honda Eco Assist™ System

Both of the available 2019 Honda CR-V engines feature the Eco Assist™ System, which can help you to maintain a fuel-efficient driving style. Eco Assist™ alerts you to driving habits that can adversely affect your CR-V gas mileage via a color-changing display around the speedometer – if the display is green, you’re driving efficiently, if it’s blue, you’re probably wasting fuel. The Eco Assist System also features an ECON button, which allows you to change the CR-V’s performance profile to optimize fuel conservation on the roads in and around New Haven. A CR-V hybrid model is expected to be released sometime in 2020, so check back with us to learn more about the CR-V hybrid mileage numbers in the near future.
